“The challenge of loving yourself is to step aside from everything people tell you and ask,

“Does this fit me? Does this bring me joy? Do I feel good when I do it?”

Ultimately, your own experience is what counts.

– Sanaya Roman, Living with Joy, (p. 41)

SoulCollage® and Joy –The two words go together so naturally! It seems that we cannot work with SoulCollage® for any length of time without reaching a place where the process allows us to access our joyful self. Life is too short to put joy at the bottom of any of our lists. Joy should not even be ON a list. It should be as natural as breathing and loving. Maybe right now that Joy does not come quite that naturally, and that is okay. Self-Love is hard, especially in hard times. Being true to ourselves brings about joy in our lives. And there is much joy, also, in allowing our imperfections as well as our brilliance.  Experiencing Joy may take a moment of alignment, when our various and many selves are at peace with one another, and open to allowing the full experience of a moment. Let’s get passionate about not postponing joy, about creating more joy in our lives and offering ourselves easy access to it.

The expressive and engaging art of SoulCollage® allows entry into the rich world of image and metaphor, allowing the wisdom of your intuition to inform and surprise you. As a community practice paired with writing and sharing, SoulCollage® offers deep, meaningful opportunities to witness and be witnessed by others on a shared – yet always unique – wisdom path. You’ll get to select and intuitively assemble images that express something of yourself and your sources of Joy.
