WWf(a)C offers programs for young women year-round.  Classes are open to girls and teens ages 9-20.

We offer one-day workshops, multi-week mini-semesters, week-long full and half day summer camps, teen salons, and specialty classes on topics relevant to young women today such as bullying, self-esteem, the fast-paced teen culture, being your authentic self, and more.

All classes and camps for girls and teens use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Participants learn to receive and give honest support and encouragement, build and keep community, and identify role models who inspire creative life choices.

Programs are designed to help strengthen girls' authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.

If one of the classes you were hoping to sign up for is full, please take a look at our many other class offerings!

Reflections...

Sabrina felt such a connection and her one comment to me on the very first day was “I feel like I belong, it’s like coming home”.  For my daughter, it was the start of a journey, discovering who she really is.  It had such an impact on her emotionally and was more about her as a “Whole” person.  This is such a good program for teenage girls, allowing them to connect and open up in a non threatening environment.  We can certainly recommend this program to other teenage girls.  It is an opportunity to peel away some layers and discover what lies deep within each person.
